Murewa Rural District Council is offering 115 prime land stands in Murewa and Macheke, including residential, commercial, institutional and church stands, all available on bidding terms.
Murewa Rural District Council, a pacesetter in investment promotion and retention, is inviting interested buyers and developers to bid for 115 prime land stands. The stands are located in Murewa and Macheke and comprise a mix of residential, commercial and institutional sites, offered in terms of the Procurement Act on competitive bidding terms.
Available stands include:
Commercial stands – Murewa Town Board
4 commercial stands, with stand sizes ranging from approximately 735 m² to 2 000 m², reserve price USD 20.00 per m².
Institutional (Clinic) stand – Murewa Town Board
1 large institutional stand for a clinic, measuring about 18 000 m², reserve price USD 7.00 per m².
High-density residential stands – Murewa Town Board
36 high-density residential stands, with stand sizes from around 150 m² to 357 m², reserve price USD 15.00 per m².
Medium-density residential stands – Murewa Town Board
2 medium-density stands, each around 600 m², reserve price USD 14.00 per m².
Low-density residential stands – Macheke
68 low-density residential stands in Macheke, with stand sizes ranging from approximately 868 m² to 1 200 m², reserve price USD 12.00 per m².
Institutional church stands – Macheke (Mutamba Phase 1)
4 institutional church stands, with stand sizes from about 2 229 m² to 2 500 m², reserve price USD 20.00 per m².
Stands are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis subject to applicants meeting the council’s minimum requirements. An interview fee of USD 37.00 (including VAT) is payable when obtaining the interview form, and additional nominal application fees may apply for those not already on the council’s waiting list.
The closing date for bids is Thursday, 11 December 2025 at 16:30 hours.
